Write for us

We welcome considered pitches about how people share work in rural groups and community projects. A strong proposal explains one useful idea clearly and gives readers a way to think about or try it without assuming every group works alike.

What we welcome

Pitch explainers, comparisons, planning approaches and reflective pieces about roles, conversations, decisions or coordination. Useful subjects are specific enough to explore in one article and broad enough to help readers beyond a single group.

What makes a good pitch

Describe the central question, the main point you would make and why it matters to readers. Mention any sources or expertise the piece would rely on, distinguish general suggestions from place-specific requirements, and flag possible conflicts of interest. We do not accept unsupported claims or disguised promotion.

How to send a proposal

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.
